How to Set Up Door Access For Avigilon Alta/OpenPath
Once your door hardware is installed and you have access to the Avigilon/OpenPath software, login to the Avigilon/OpenPath software and follow the instructions below:
1. Create a New User. Use the following email address in the new user profile: api@uschedule.com
2. Check the box to use an existing Namespace. The Namespace is org:uschedule.
3. Allow Portal Access.
4. Set Roles to Super Admin.
5. Add a Cloud Key credential to the new user that was just created. Please be sure you use the Cloud Key credential to ensure a successful connection.
6. Enable Remote Unlock on Edit User (USchedule Visitor) on Access Tab.
7. Send USchedule the ORG ID# via email. The ORG ID is displayed in the URL of client’s browser when logged in at OpenPath.
8. Client logs in here - https://control.openpath.com/
Please Note: Never delete the New User you created called api@uschedule.com or the access you have granted to USchedule will no longer work and your customers will not be able to access the door.
