How to Split a Tab and Move Items

To split one tab for two customers so that they can each pay for their own items, click the Start Split Tab button.

That will create a second tab for one of the customers.

Assign this to the other person in the party.

Once you have a secondary tab, click the fork and knife icon. This will reveal the two individual tabs for the two customers.

Go back to the first tab and move items from this tab to the second tab.

Choose the items and click the Move Items button.

Move the items from the first tab to the second tab.

Click save to complete the process.

Go back to the fork and knife icon and see that the customers have balances on their tabs for the items they consumed.
