Membership Linked Series

To create a membership that gives your customers four free hours of simulator time in a month, navigate to the Settings menu, click on Memberships in the left-hand side of your screen, and click the Add New button.

Enter a Membership Name, set the Price of the membership, and set Membership Type to Monthly so the customer will pay that fee once a month for four free hours of simulator time. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

Next, link this new membership to a Series which gives the customer four free hours of simulator time per month.

On the Series tab, create a new Series. It is recommended that you put the name of the membership in the series label which will make it easy to identify when the series is linked to the membership. Since this series will be linked to a membership, there will not be a price entered for it; this will be a simple quantity controller so when a customer buys the membership, they can use the series attached to it. Set the Total Units value to 4, and click Save at the bottom of the page:

Next you will need to assign a Service to the Series. Click the Services tab:

This series will control the quantity for booking the Sim Rental and set the Unit Cost to 1 unit:

It costs 1 unit to book an hour of sim time. There are 4 units per month included in the membership. The customer can book 4 hours per month at no additional cost:

Go back to the Membership and edit it to link this series:

If the customer does not use all of their units in one month, and you would like to have the unused units carry over, increase the Linked Max Units value:

If you don't want carryover, leave the Linked Max Units set at 4. If the customer uses all 4 units they can still book your standard sim rental service, but if they don't have any units to spend on that appointment, they will pay the standard sim rental rate.
