Coupon for Date Range

To create a marketing piece for a given time period and include a coupon to offer a discount on simulator time, do the following:

Go to the Coupon tab in the left hand menu and on the Add New Coupon tab, click the Add New button.

Enter a code for the coupon. This is  what the customer will need to apply on the checkout page to get the discount.

Next, add the description for the coupon. This will only be visible to admin users. The description will describe what the coupon is designed to do.

Set the discount type to percent off or flat rate and apply the discount value.

You will need to assign the coupon. If this is for a simulator discount, choose Per Service. This will give you a service menu where you will find Sim Rental service.

Enter the dollar value of your minimum purchase requirement.  If your sim rental is $50 per hour and you set a $100 minimum purchase requirement, this will require your customers to book at least 2 hours totaling $100 of sim time to get the discount.

Set the maximum discount value for your coupon. If set to $150 that means to get the discount the customer must book at least two hours of sim time and no more than three hours of sim time for a total of $150.00.

Enter the start date of the coupon and the expiration date of the coupon. The coupon will only be usable within the date range that you set.

Max uses will allow you to control how many times the coupon can be used. If that is set at 0, that will allow the coupon to have an unlimited number of uses.

Max uses per user determines how many times each customer can use the coupon.

If you would like the discount to be applied automatically to a membership, you can do that by checking the Membership Discount box.

Be sure to click the Save button when you are finished.
