How to Create a Monthly Newsletter
To create a monthly newsletter to send to customers you will go to the email section of your software, where you will have an option to create templates.
Click on Templates.
That opens up the templates page.
Click on the plus button in the upper right corner to start the creation process.
Give the newsletter a title.
Choose marketing customer template for a newsletter
Click the create button.
You can now start adding your content.
Add an intro message.
If you have a lengthy intro message, the software will expand this space to accommodate however much information you need to add.
Make sure to save often.
Once you have typed in a paragraph, hit the Save template button.
Next add a content pane and general content with some formatting.
Type in the basic title for the newsletter.
After adding your subject line, you will need to edit this content.
Eliminate the placeholder text and type in the information that you would like to discuss in your newsletter.
Save often.
Keep in mind that when you add new content panes, they are added to the bottom of your template, so you may need to move the footer down the page.
There is opt out information typically located at the bottom of your template.
You can add another content pane to this newsletter containing an image and some basic text.
To change the image, click on the image and that reveals your image manager button.
If you click that, it opens your computer search function so you can get an image that you have on your hard drive.
Type in as much information as you need, and if you'd like to help a customer get you your purchase page, you can put in a message that says Click here.
If you need to hyperlink a word, highlight the entire word and that reveals the toolbar on the left hand side containing A hyperlink manager button.
That allows you to paste in a page.
You can repeat that process, adding more content panes to accommodate the message that you'd like to convey in your newsletter.
