How to Test OpenPath Set Up

To test OpenPath setup, in your settings menu on the left hand side you will find Locations or Facilities.

When you click on that option, that will give you an edit button for your facility.

Click Edit and then scroll down the page.

You will find your OpenPath config button at the bottom.

Click that button and check to see that your org ID, user ID, credential, etc. appear correctly.

Click the unlock door button.

When you click that button, you will get a message that says door should have unlocked if it has been set up correctly. You will need to have someone at the door to verify that it actually physically unlocks.

If it does, your set up has been done correctly.

If the test fails, you will get a message indicating there has been a failure.

That basically indicates that you are missing information, credential ID, entry ID, etcetera, or the information is incorrect. You must type those numbers in exactly the way they appear in your OpenPath account.

The other thing that might happen, which is rare, is the equipment fails.

The door can't physically unlock if the equipment is not working right.

That is a rare thing that happens.

If it does happen, you will need to contact OpenPath to have that resolved.
