Setting Up the Extend Time Options for the App

Clients with a custom branded app can allow customers to extend their appointment time directly within the app during their session.

Customers will only be able to extend their appointment if all required resources (such as bays or equipment) are available for the additional time requested.

Under Settings > Services, click edit on the applicable service, then find the extension fields.

How to Configure Appointment Extensions

  1. Navigate to Settings > Services
  2. Click Edit on the service you would like to allow extensions for
  3. Scroll to the Extension fields

Extension Max

The maximum number of minutes a customer can extend their appointment.

Extension Increments

The time intervals (in minutes) that customers can choose when extending.

For example, if set to 30 minutes, customers can extend in 30-minute increments.

Extension Price (Optional)

The hourly rate charged for the extension.

If this field is set to 0, the extension will be charged at the service’s default hourly rate.

If a value is entered, that rate will override the default price for extension time only.
